Beauty entrepreneur Shalini Vadhera’s “Hollywood-meets-Bollywood” Wedding

Access Hollywood’s Tony Potts wed beauty entrepreneur Shalini Vadhera in a lavish ceremony at the serene Lake Shrine in Pacific Palisades, California. The couple chose to exchange vows in the Gandhi Gardens where Vadhera glowed in a hand-beaded, Indian-inspired silk and organza gown from Frontier Heritage and gold and diamond jewellery by her favorite jeweller, Highglow Jewellers. Potts looked dapper in a beaded sherwani also from Frontier Heritage.

Potts and Vadhera, who wanted an opulent Hollywood-meets-Bollywood theme, worked with Dulari Amin of Imli Events for their special day. The wedding ceremony was followed by a fun soiree on a yacht at sunset. The yacht was decorated by expert floral designer Sharmila Garg. The tables were draped in lush organza and satin linens with hand-embroidered paisley motifs from GBS Linens. Henna designs flickered on the ceilings and hand-painted votives gleamed on the tables adding a warm, romantic, glow.  The decadent chocolate coconut cake by Kimberly Bailey of The Butter End was hand piped in gold with a beautiful henna design, topped by a handmade chocolate and gold gilded Ganesh for good luck.  The guests included Access Hollywood’s Shaun Robinson, actress Pooja Kumar (Bollywood Hero), actor Rupak Ginn (Royal Pains and Cheetah Girls), Anjula Acharia Bath of DesiHits, Sunjay Guleria of Exclusively In and each guest left with a gold organza bag filled with rich red velvet cookies by Xtreme Desserts.
