The post-wedding celebration hosted by Varsha and Ramesh Taurani at Aurus, Juhu

Jay Shewakramani of Tips Films married popular TV actress Nisha Sareen in Goa. Producer Ramesh Taurani and his wife Varsha (Jay’s sister) hosted a post-wedding party at Aurus, Juhu.

Nisha has worked in professional theatre (her mother is also a theatre actress) and television serials like K Street Pali Hill, Kabhi Aaye Na Judai and Kavyanjali. For the wedding, Nisha wore a traditional
lehenga and for the brunch at Aurus she looked gorgeous in a summery white ensemble by Ritika Mirchandani. Jay’s wedding wear was designed by Kunal and Naresh Rohera of Masculine.

The newly-weds are now holidaying in Greece!

This month-end model Reshma Bombaywala’s friends will head to Goa to attend her fun wedding celebrations at the Casa Bela in Candolim. Watch this space for more information on Reshma’s three day wedding celebrations at India’s beach paradise.

On March 2nd Mumbai model Nina Manuel weds New York businessman Luv Shah. Their friends from all over the world are in Mumbai from 28th February onwards—to attend the parties at the Aurus Lounge and the traditional functions at ISKON temple, St Peter’s Church and JW Marriott.

Arzoo Govitrikar is tying the knot on March 16th in Navi Mumbai (where her parents live). The post wedding party is at Tote. Says Arzoo: “My parents are taking care of all the arrangements for the wedding near our home in Panvel. I’m through with shopping for clothes and jewellery. Right now, I’m busy finalising the invitation card design and drawing up the invitations list.”

Mridula-Osh Wedding Affair@Aurus

More than the in-the-news Shilpa Shetty and Esha Koppikar whose weddings are this month, we were really looking forward to seeing pictures from the wedding celebrations of model Mridula Chandrasekhar and the debonair Osh Bhabani. Osh co-runs b:blunt with sister Adhuna (Farhan Akhtar’s wife). He was born to a Bangladeshi father and English mother and he had a very English upbringing. Mridula, on the other hand grew up in a typical South Indian family in the Central suburbs of Mumbai. We were sure the Mridula-Osh wedding would be the most chilled-out and fun event—and it certain looked so. The venue for the celebrations was Aurus, the beautiful beachside resto-bar cum lounge at Juhu. We loved the simple yet elegant look of the bride and groom. Osh looked dashing yet formal in a light shirt and purple/blue tie, while the svelte Mridula looked simple and cute in a pretty pink and white gown.
