Rucchika and Kapil Mahtani’s wedding at The Trident

Rucchika Malkani married Kapil Mahtani (of accessory brand Tres Mode) on Wednesday. The grand wedding celebration was at The Trident, Mumbai. The functions included the Mehendi at the Roof Top, the Sangeet, the Wedding cum Reception at the Regal Room. Gurleen M Puri created the stunning décor for all the wedding functions and guests were raving about the ‘Buddha Bar’ theme the ace Wedding designer created for the Sangeet.
Rucchika, who earlier worked as a Fashion Stylist wore glittering designer creations by Manish Malhotra, Anamika Khanna and Ankur Batra. Her make-up for the different functions was done by Subash Vagal, Ojas Rajani and Anil Chinnappa (Bondu). For the wedding Rucchika wore a wine colored lehenga choli with swarovski work by Ankur Batra of Ecru. She teamed it with chunky diamond jewellery from Shravan Satyani and AK Motiwala Jewellers. Kapil wore a Sherwani by Arjun Khanna.
Rucchika and Kapil are now off for their honeymoon to France. We wish them all luck and happiness in their new life.

At Lakme Fashion Week, we met the dynamic Kapil Mahtani of brand Tresmode, and his charming fiance Ruchika Malkani. An alumni of HR College Mumbai, Ruchika worked in the talent management agency run by The Times of India group. She is now working as an independent stylist. Kapil Mahtani whose family business is in footwear manufacturing, launched Tresmode in 2007. Ruchika and Kapil are getting married in July 2010.
