After a simple wedding and intimate reception, Neelam Kothari and Samir Soni hosted a post-wedding party. Neelam glowed in a green velvet lehenga that was quite a departure from her white-and-red wedding day look. Neelam’s many actress and designer friends turned up– all in glittering lehengas, sarees and Indo-westerns.

Neelam Kothari’s Mehendi function

On saturday evening, Neelam Kothari hosted a Mehendi function at her Khar home. Neelam’s best friends Seema Khan and Bhavana Pandey and all the Bollywood divas were there to celebrate the charming actress turned jewellery designers union with actor Samir Soni. Green was the popular color choice for most guests—besides Neelam, designer Ana Singh, socialite Bhavana Pandey, actress’ Karisma Kapoor and Amrita Arora all wore stunning ensembles with green as the highlight color.

The wedding was held on Sunday night. Though Neelam and Samir have been dating for long, they decided on the wedding date just a few weeks ago. “Planning a wedding is not a joke, even though its small and simple. On Monday, Avantika and Imran will be at the Marriage Registrar’s office after which they are hosting a party at the Taj Land’s End. The wealthy merchant banker slowed down his highly hectic lifestyle, to spend more time on his most passionate priorities: his family and friends, traveling the world with his children, and to support various support groups to help cancer patients.

Another glamorous couple is tying the knot. Big Boss actor Sameer Soni has announced that he will marry Neelam Kothari sometime in January or February. According to reports, this will be a low-key affair. This is the second marriage for the model turned actor, and the actress turned Jewellery Designer. Sameer was earlier married to Rajlaxmi Khanvilkar, and Neelam was married to a UK based businessman.
