Marie Claire India to get a new Editor

Shefalee Vasudev, the first and current Editor of Marie Claire has put in her papers. Shefalee earlier worked with India Today, and joined the Outlook group five years back when they decided to launch the prestigious women’s magazine in India. In the New Year Shefalee will work on completing her first book which is on Fashion and has simultaneous plans to return to mainstream journalism. Says Shefalee: “My assignment at Marie Claire was a turning point in my professional life giving me exceptional exposure and insight.”
Marie Claire has not announced the name of their new Editor yet but we’ve heard some of the most high-profile women feature writers are vying to get this coveted job.
