Like her mother Mumbai’s ace events manager, Sharmilla Khanna, Shaan too is very well-networked, and has recently ventured into Wedding Planning. “I love every day of my work, because I get to meet so many people, meeting and interacting with new people makes my day!”

Networking, attending high profile do’s and partying is all part of her work and almost every day the bubbly Shaan gets calls from friends, asking for advice on where to source, or whom to hire, for intimate events or big, fat weddings. “When it comes to weddings, the most frequent query is about caterers and decor! People are always lost between who to choose from and of course venues!” And while Shaan admits that attending events or celebrations, every other day can get stressful, she tells us why she never gets tired of the traditional do’s. “I get to eat my favourite Indian dessers- Jalebi and Rabdi or Gulab Jamun and end the meal with a Paan.”
