How we Met
Our friends referred to us as the perennial singles since neither of us was in a hurry to get married. I decided that initially career was more important than marriage, and for AD it was important that he meet the right person, even if it meant waiting for decades. We met through common friends at a party and were soon meeting every other day.

The Engagement     
It was the millennium eve in Goa when AD popped the question. He slipped a simple sunflower ring on my left hand and the formal ring soon followed. Since Goa was the place where AD proposed, we decided that the same place would be the best venue for marriage too.
