About the Couple
A brief description about you and where you met- Luis & I met through a mutual friend in 2002. We had a long distance relationship which lasted one year. Shortly after one year, Luis moved closer after receiving a new job offer in New York. The relationship grew stronger and we later became engaged in July 2004.

Where you work now and where you have set up home after marriage- Jennifer works for a finance company in Livingston, NJ as an account manager and Luis works for Jansen Pharmaceutica as a sales representative. The couple purchased their first home together in Union County, NJ in January 2005.

The Wedding Details

Ceremony dates and location

We had two wedding ceremonies: We had a Hindu ceremony in honor of my part Guyanese culture in May 2006. The Hindu ceremony was held in our private residence with our closest family and friends. We then had a Catholic ceremony in June 2006 held at the Sacred Heart Cathedral Basilica in Newark, NJ.

The Décor
Our décor was simple and elegant. We used gold, crème, and bronze as our main wedding colors. The flowers were different shades of pale pinks & crèmes to keep with the spring ambiance
