Meera Luthra's Fairy Tale Wedding
Meera Luthra, daughter of slimming diva Vandana Luthra married Anurag Bhatia, UK-based real estate developer and venture capitalist of Capricorn Group PLC. Anurag's parents Hema and Kamal Bhatia own Regency Hotel and a stud farm in Pune.

The wedding was a very classy affair with the who's who of Mumbai and Delhi attending the functions.

The Sangeet Ceremony
April 12th, 2004
The Venue: Kamal Mahal, Maurya Sheraton, New Delhi.
The venue came alive with the Navratana theme decor, and the ambience was breath-taking with beautiful floral arrangements, exquisite candles, a specially set-up dance floor and a grand gala that extended from the ball room to Nandiya Gardens. Meera looked stunning in a cream coloured Rohit Bal lehanga studded with Navratanas and a chunky polki set. Sandeep Vyas and brothers performed at the ceremony. The special attraction of the function was special dance performances by all the family members.

Meera's Sangeet ceremony was attended by yesteryear actress Zeenat Aman, Raveena Tandon and hubby Anil Thandani, Peter Punj of Punj Llyod, designers Rohit Bal and Manav Gangwani, Shatrujit Singh of the royal family of Kapurthala, TV star Shekhar Suman, cricketer Kapil Dev and B4U VJ.

Wedding Ceremony

The Venue: Hotel Taj Palace, New Delhi.
The Navratana themed venue looked amazing with beautiful floral arrangements by Geeta and Arun Samuel of Q-events while a group of pundits recited shlokas while the jaimala took place. Both Mrs. Luthra and her daughter wore exquisite creations by Calcutta sensation Sabyasachi Mukherjee.

Some of the guests who included the wedding included Jackie Shroff, Shabana Azmi, Shilpa Shetty and younger sister Shamita Shetty, Subroto Roy of the Sahara Group.

Meera has now set up home with Anurag in UK and will now look at setting up VLCC centers in UK.
