About Vanisha and Amit
Delhi boy Amit Bhatia (25) is the son of Jor Bagh based Renu and Arun Bhatia, who are into the Property estates business. After passing out of St Columbus school, Amit went to Cornell University to study Business Management and joined Credit Suisse First Boston investment bank in London, where he currently works. Vanisha (23) has recently joined her father's company, LNM, after a Masters degree in Asian Studies from SOAS (School of Oriental and African Studies) in London. "The Mittals have been our family friends for a long time. Amit and Renu got to know each other better over the last couple of years in London and decided to get married," said Renu Bhatia.

The bride's father reportedly opted for Paris as the wedding venue because he considered it to be the most romantic place in the world. Every single day of the weeklong lavish wedding party in Paris had a different moveable feast, theme and concept for the delectation of the guests. The six day wedding extravaganza that is rumoured to have cost over 30 million pounds wasn't just about ceremonies, celebrations, cuisine and company... it was about who, where, what... and how! And it was watched by a 20-million-strong diaspora, one-billion Indians at home and more than 1,000 guests specially flown into France for the fairytale wedding at the 17th century Vaux-le-Vicomte, considered the finest chateau and garden in all of France.
