| The Calendar as a give-away is gaining popularity. Many people are opting to have calendars created with candid shots from the wedding, for distribution to friends and relatives. |

Something that is very interesting is to have close friends and family speak about the bride and the groom, along with videos/photographs of the couple through their childhood and adolescence which can be incorporated in the run up to the wedding video. |

How important are candid shots versus posed pictures? |
|
| |
Good candid shots add charm to a wedding although the preference is more towards posed photographs. In Bengali weddings it is difficult to get shots of the couple together because the couple is not allowed to be in the same room before the wedding. They are placed in separate rooms. Whatever couple photographs happen, would happen after the ceremony when they aren’t as fresh as they were when they came in and that shows on their faces. The tradition of the family photograph is something that will always remain. We also carry along backgrounds with us in the event that the venue does not offer adequate or good backgrounds. |
