Looking for ways to spice up the centerpieces and wedding favors at your reception? Seeking to add some extra panache to your marriage festivities? New York based artist Oorbee Roy helps you out!

Origami

For Centerpieces:
Use origami flowers to create lasting floral arrangements. Origami fold Irises, Lilies and Wild Flowers then add bleached leaves, dyed to the right color, and perhaps a folded crane to give some depth. Need stems? Use wire for a contemporary look or dowels that you paint for something more traditional

For Favors:
Origami fold a crane for each of your guests or combine with the place cards for an all-in-one treat
.

Petals

For Centerpieces:
Sprinkle petals all over the table, with more petals closer to the center to expand your centerpiece and bring it closer to your guests

For Favors:
Place or wrap bite-sized chocolates or Indian sweets with petals and ribbons and your guests will get to unwrap a gift too!

Garlands

For Centerpieces:
Use garlands! You don't have to leave the beautiful garlands at the site of the wedding ceremony, bring their beauty to the reception as well! String together mums, carnations or any flower with an abundance of stocky petals and delicately position them around candles or your floral arrangements.

For Favors:
Create garlands long enough to wrap around each dinner plate so each guest can wear a garland home.
