DETAILS
The
festivities began with the Mehendi ceremony at the
Olive, Bandra. The ceremony began at 3 in the afternoon with
live music and dancing. All the guests including the bride
danced on while Mehendi artiste Sujata and her troupe
decorated everyone’s hands.
Kriti
wore a beautiful Payal Singhal creation, a copper and matter
gold embroidered pant suit with a short kurta and a diamante
stole. Her jewellery
was a gorgeous ethnic jaipuri red set with white diamonds .
The
food at the Mehendi was a mix of exotic Indo-western dishes
served with wines and cocktails, which included black pepper
chicken spring rolls, smoked mushrooms, shrimp canapés,
barbequed cottage cheese, marinated nachos with jalapeno
salsa, cajun spiced chicken pizza with caramalised onions.
Dips and relishes cucumber and yogurt dip with mint along with
kahlua chocolate mousse, pastries and almond nut ice-cream.
The
Wedding was on 29th December at The
Ballroom, Taj. The Indo-western theme wedding was a very
personalized affair and was followed by a sit-down dinner.
Kriti wore a South Indian temple saree with a co-ordinated
dupatta designed by Maheka Mirpuri and Suhail wore an outfit
from Anja San.
