A quirky Snakes and Ladders dance floor for the Mehndi celebration was a fun surprise at this Jaipur wedding
Poojan and Jaimish’s Wedding festivities in the Pink City were a mesmerizing blend of intriguing decor, creative ideas and a whole lot of merriment. Planned and executed by WeddingSutra Favorite – Ahan Destination Management, here are a few glimpses of the cheerful celebrations.
Shankar Ganesh from Ahan Destination Management shares, “The Bride envisioned her functions to look elegant and classy, and she wanted the decor to be vibrant but not extravagant. So, for each function we created distinct themes that were sophisticated yet different each time and added interesting elements to inject a dose of fun that made each function unique and memorable.
The festivities kicked off with a vibrant Mehendi function hosted at the Royal Orchid Jaipur. A quaint color palette of mint and ivory lent an air of romance to the affair while wooden crates with blooming flowers added a rustic-chic vibe. In keeping with the theme, wooden barrels made for unusual cocktail tables and the bar. The highlight of the event was the life-size snakes and ladder dance floor complete with a dice which was a quirky visual treat for guests and an absolute fun attraction for the kids to play as well.
Held at Advaita Banquets Jaipur, the Sangeet night was a starry affair with a profusion of twinkling lights, white blooms, crystals and modern geometric props all bathed in an ethereal blue glow that set an enchanting mood for the evening. The glitzy festivities were held indoor while the sumptuous dinner and live counters were set up outside, under fairy-light canopies.
Organized at Royal Orchid Jaipur again, the outdoor Haldi function was a sun-kissed vibrant soiree in cheerful hues of yellow and white. Gorgeous marigolds ruled the décor, interspersed with mogras and bells. A traditional mandap was set up where the bride was smeared with auspicious turmeric paste by her loved ones.
The nuptial celebrations exuded grandeur at the lush lawns of the Jai Mahal Palace. A color palette of peach and blush oozed femininity and grace, illuminated by lots of candles and crystals while the subtle mood lighting cast a romantic ambience. As per the bride’s vision, the Mandap opened up to the skies and was set up against the beautiful backdrop of the palace while the soothing flow of the water in the pond nearby added serenity to the evening.
