Wedding Planning
Embracing the picturesque coastal beauty of Mahabalipuram away from the bustle of the city, the couple hosted their wedding at the Ideal Beach Resort and entrusted the team of Dream Capture Events to bring their vision to life. Looking back at their experience, they share, “A wedding is the most special day of anyone’s life, and picking Dream Capture Events was the best decision we could have taken. They handled everything impeccably from start to finish and combined their professional approach with their creative ideas to make our wedding really glamorous. From decor to lighting, flowers, and more, every aspect was greatly admired by all our guests. They even handled last-minute challenges with great efficiency. We had originally wanted a beach wedding and poolside, which got derailed due to last-minute rains, but they doubled up the labor, shifted everything inside, and ensured the functions were just as beautiful. We are very obliged for their service.”
Wedding Functions
Haldi and Mehndi
Kicking off the festivities was the vibrant haldi and mehndi celebration. Designed in a uniquely cool color palette of greens, blues, and purples with boho elements like dream catchers, pampas grass, and cane furniture, the decor was a refreshing departure from traditional bright mehndi decor. Dressed in shades of lavender, the couple entered amidst colorful smoke bombs.
Sangeet
The festivities revved up with a glamorous Sangeet where glitzy decor, music, and dance took over the night. Dressed in shimmering silver couture, the couple arrived with a dramatic Bollywood-inspired entry, setting the stage for an evening of Movie magic and performances.
Wedding
Originally conceptualized as a beach ceremony, the indoor wedding exuded all the charm of a tropical outdoor function with the decor of breezy drapes, pampas grass, exotic blooms, and more, setting a boho, rustic ambiance. The bride made a beautiful entry under a canopy of dainty white and blush blooms for the outdoor varmala, before
heading to the indoor mandap for her phera ceremony.
Reception
An elegant Reception dinner brought the festivities to a close. Dressed in a stunning silver-gold ballgown and a black Jodhpuri suit respectively, the couple arrived through a tunnel of lights for a glorious evening of toasts, music, and laughter.
