An earthy unplugged night, a glitzy sangeet and a regal wedding – this fusion destination wedding in Silvassa exuded modern grandeur
Taking grandeur to new heights, Pankti Vadhani and Ronak Tibarewala’s fusion wedding was a picture-perfect celebration filled with grandeur. With lavish spreads and a bright colour palette, this wedding planned by WeddingSutra Favorite – ShubhTithi Weddings and Events aced in all aspects.
How They Met
Pankti shares, “Ronak and I had previously crossed paths many times but our bond cemented while on a vacation to Leh and Ladakh. And little did we know, we had so many things in common!”
Ronak shares, “Our marriage was a fusion wedding and we were apprehensive that our families won’t agree. However, it was a cakewalk and we got engaged within a week!” Pankti adds, “We decided to go for a destination wedding. The biggest and most important element of any wedding plan along with the cost is the management of the whole team. In this aspect, ShubhTithi Weddings and Events made it such an easy process. Ours was a Gujarati and Marwadi wedding so it was essential that we had equal elements from both sides. They made the entire planning process a fun one with their thoughtfulness and prompt way of working. It’s not easy to manage a guestlist of 400 people on a 24-acre resort in the cold month of January but ShubhTithi Weddings made it happen.”
Swathed in earthy hues that gave the venue a slightly rustic vibe, the Unplugged Night urged everyone to kick back and relax as they tapped their toes to soothing tunes. Contrasting the warm decor were white floral setups and candles that added to the cozy aura as the music started.
For the sangeet, glitz levels were at an all-time high as the venue was lit up by candles and soft gold lights. Peach blooms contrasted by green foliage created a romantic atmosphere while the huge sangeet stage added to the glamour quotient.
Ronak shares, “For us the food was an extremely important factor in the wedding. We wanted our guests to enjoy both Gujarati and Marwadi cuisines. A menu was curated and at the end of it, the guests couldn’t stop raving about the food. 12 meals were created for a span of 3 days and every meal was a carefully planned one for the lavish affair.” On the decor front, the classic gold, white and red colour palette was chosen. Fragrant blooms decorated the mandap while a circular seating arrangement ensured everyone got a good view of the proceedings.
