Nothing takes away the heartening warmth of a medley of memories duly brought about by celebrating new beginnings in a space rich with all your childhood memories. In this case, it was Sangamithira B and Anand Nalliannan’s backyard engagement ceremony planned and executed by WeddingSutra Favorite – The W Code which was a close-knit celebration of love and family framed against the most gorgeous natural decor.
Beautiful white doors graced with multifarious flowers welcomed you into the lush backyard space decorated with green vines, striking arrangements of blooms in exotic hues and pampas grass for a whimsical boho appeal. Jute planters made by women artisans and modish mirror elements added a sense of flair to the space under a canopy of homegrown grape creepers that hung over the festivities.
Inspired by the bride’s love for plants, a personalized corner with artistic earthenware planters sourced from local potteries full of baby’s breath along with macramé hangings added a homely charm to the beautifully landscaped lawn. A floral arch with gilded lanterns and a plush couple seating framed by an explosion of flowers and vines completed the décor. This aptly set the perfect backdrop for the couple to celebrate their day of love amidst their near and dear ones.
