Bridal Beginnings with AZVA

Jewellery is imbued with a lot of significance that transcends time. It can accentuate one’s current ensembles for any occasion, be inherited from one’s ancestors and passed on to future generations. That’s why every jewellery piece is embedded with its own story, be it a contemporary piece or an heirloom item. Jewellery has enjoyed the spotlight at every wedding, especially Indian ones, and as modern brides’ tastes change, many brands have innovated their offerings. WeddingSutra, in association with India’s leading jewellery brand AZVA, recently hosted ‘Bridal Beginnings with AZVA‘ at the brand’s newly launched store at Taj Santacruz in Mumbai.

Designed to help brides envision their look for their big day, the session opened with a warm welcome by the AZVA and WeddingSutra teams who introduced three lucky brides to a world of exclusive jewelry. AZVA’s collections showcased a remarkable blend of traditional and contemporary designs. One such motif was the Indian tradition of ‘Saat Pheras,’ and each piece, right from a delicate ring to an elaborate neckpiece, boasted an element of ‘7’.

Brides-to-be Kashish, Bhoomi and Chandani got on-the-spot makeovers that were in line with their tastes and preferences. They also enjoyed a specialized jewellery consultation which included them trying on exquisite creations. Their regal princess looks were complete thanks to rich, lustrous lehengas from SAMMOHI by Moksha & Hinal. Reputed stylist Esha Amin was also present to share some valuable tips for the big day!

WeddingSutra Favorites from the bridal beauty sphere such as Hinal Dattani, Mausam Gandhi and Neeta Kapoor gave each girl a unique look, after which, the beautiful brides-to-be took part in a mini photo shoot. Check out details of their exquisite bling from AZVA, captured by Mrinal Khatnani.

Kashish Malik
Kashish wore a stunning gold and kundan necklace with seven fine floral carvings blooming above layers of gold. The encrusted rubies added that touch of subtle color and the gold-capped pearl drops spelled modern sophistication.

Bhoomi Rajani
Bhoomi chose an elaborate statement choker to complement her red lehenga. The intricate web of gold interspersed with semi-circular motifs and artistic textures around the stones showcased unparalleled craftsmanship and incorporated mod elements as well as traditional touches.

Chandani Solanki
Chandani’s spectacular choker epitomized the essence of an Indian wedding with its seven magnificent rows reminiscent of ‘saat pheras.’ This carefully crafted piece with specks of red stone on an ornate lattice adorned with flowers went for contemporary finesse with its gold-capped pearl drops.

Exciting, edgy, elegant – the jewellery collections at AZVA are designed to appeal to every bride – and woman – who has different shades to their personalities. That’s what was on display at the concluding segment of the session where stylist Esha Amin shared bridal tips and trends that each bride could apply to accentuate parts of themselves as they desired.
