The WeddingSutra Influencer Awards, besides being an occasion meant to honor excellence, is also a glittering platform for some of the most esteemed fashion designers in the industry. Christened ‘Experience Partners’, each designer created two concept tables inspired by their latest wedding collections and added a wealth of visual resonance. In this series, we have the spotlight on Nachiket Barve whose marvelous tables were inspired by his latest couture collection.
Inspired by his latest collection, Millenial Maharanis, Nachiket Barve’s concept tables exuded vibes of a swanky Moroccan fete. The mesmerizing table comprised of brass minarets, golden dust-sprayed fruits, and animal miniatures as well as silver and gold votives symbolizing a dramatic opulence, all set against a black canvas.
As elements of red and gold made for a spellbinding sight, red florals of peace lilies, roses, and carnations induced an interesting burst of contrast. Other components like the palm leaves, sprayed pomegranates in gold and silver, hammered brass coasters, napkin rings, and oriental lamps added an eclectic and archaic touch. The coarse gold and silver glitter powder created a metallic sand effect forming the perfect base for all the components on the gold print fabric featuring oversized chrysanthemums.
Keeping the décor on the chairs minimalistic, they were decked up with black covers and a strip of gold print fabric as seat tie-ups. Nachiket’s muse, Arshia Ahuja who wore a stunning creation from his latest collection, and other elite guests at the table were not only treated to the visual beauty but also a delicious gold dust cocktail of Expresso Martini inspired by the table’s theme specially curated by The Wedding Bartenders and Hops Cork.
