The WeddingSutra Influencer Awards, besides being an occasion meant to honor excellence, was also a glittering platform for some of the most esteemed fashion designers in the industry. Christened ‘Experience Partners’, each designer created two concept tables inspired by their latest wedding collections and added a wealth of visual resonance. In the previous part of this series, we brought to you Arpita Mehta’s table inspired by the influence of western aesthetics on Indian designs, this time we shine the spotlight on Nishka Lulla’s setup.
Bohemian style is a manifestation of original ideas which takes the form of alternative art. Often represented by vibrant hues and elements evocative of a gypsy-esque lifestyle, this approach towards creativity fuelled designer Nishka Lulla’s imagination. Her table, therefore, was stood for all things artsy and colorful.
She let nature guide her inventiveness and incorporated some of its prettiest gifts into her table decor. A bunch of dry twigs emerged from the center of the table and invited delicately crafted songbirds to sit upon itself and fill her guests’ minds’ ears with sounds of cheerful chirping. Bright flowers in pink, orange and yellow surround the base of this arrangement, thus adding a sense of freshness.
Feathers were another aspects of the setup could be seen on the dreamcatchers that the hung from the centerpiece, the edge of the glass candleholders as well as the napkin ties. In the middle of the table, a sequenced table runner sat adding a touch of glam to the muted table overlay.
The chairs we festooned with white tasseled laces and florals that matched the colors of the blooms on the tables. This setup was all about romance and the quintessence of one of France’s most remembered styles.
