Destination Maldives- Actress Anita Raaj and Sobo family host grand post wedding celebrations

Patina Maldives, the uber chic resort in Fari Islands played host to a high profile Indian wedding this week. Actress Anita Raaj’s entrepreneur son Shivam Hingorani and his wife jewellery designer Renu Oberoi hosted close to 200 of their family members and closest friends at the beach and water villas of Patina Maldives.
A few months ago Shivam and Renu wed in an intimate at-home celebration. Shivam is the Founder of Ace Blend, the company behind a natural protein and superfood nourisher. Jewellery designer Renu Oberoi who lives in one of the toniest high-rises of Cuffe Parade retails her much-sought-after, elegant and contemporary creations from her studio in Nariman Point. Her family owns business house Powerica Limited and were once the owners of Swish restaurant Indigo.
According to one of the guests the celebrations planned by Mumbai’s celebrity wedding planners FB Celebrations were a chilled-out affair with guests donning the best of resort wear and chic designer gowns by Shivam’s first cousin designer Sonaakshi Raaj Merani.
Highlights of the 3-day celebrations included a white wedding on the beach where the bride looked stunning in a pristine white gown and the mesmerizing Sangeet celebration where maestro Rahat Fateh Ali Khan wowed the guests. After the musical performance guests danced to DJ AJ‘s tracks till wee hours of the morning. And we’re sure fine jewellery by Renu Oberoi and its wondrous charm would have been center stage.
