Nikki and Piyush’s wedding celebration in Bangalore was a hearty celebration of love and commitment. A perfect confluence of beautiful themes and décor, the wedding was flawlessly planned and executed by WeddingSutra Favorite – Weddings by Manisha Porwal, glimpses of which are shared below.
How they met
College sweethearts Piyush and Nikki felt an undeniable connection from the moment they met, and the sparks that flew between them only grew with each passing day. In this modern day and age of love, their story evokes the warmth of old-school romance.
Wedding Planning
Held at the luxurious venue of The Ritz Carlton, Bangalore, every function of the grand wedding was planned elaborately by the team of Weddings by Manisha Porwal. The opulence of the wedding was reflected in the gorgeous invites by Kiana Invitations made for the bride and groom’s families which were brought to life by elephants, trellis patterns, flowers and more.
Wedding Functions
Haldi
Hosted on the rooftop bar ‘Bang’, the ‘Shades of Sunshine’ themed boho Haldi function painted a colorful picture against the panoramic backdrop of Bangalore beyond. Brightly colored vases and trunks full of blooms decked the space teamed with multicolored frames, tasseled canopies, games, favor tables and much more. A modern circular metallic seating spruced up with custom-made cushions, flowers and a bold canopy made up the couple’s seating. The bride and groom looked breezy in coordinated outfits of white and sky blue.
Sangeet
Themed ‘Shaam Shaandaar’, the scintillating Sangeet hosted at the Grand Ballroom lived up to its name! Crafted in hues of black, bottle-green and silver, the decor was a confluence of Moroccan influences and upscale glamour, with elements such as jaali work, lamps, cascading tinsel, vintage chandeliers and more. The decadent evening saw spectacular dance performances and non-stop enjoyment as DJ Daman Sardar’s rocking tunes had everyone shaking a leg.
Wedding
Soft, floral décor in hues of pink set a romantic tone for the poolside wedding, with beguiling structures of blooms encompassing the space. Enchanting peacocks with floral plumes flanked the blooming mandap that had with a dreamy canopy of white and green. An energetic baraat with Lalbaugh dholwalas and DJ tunes was followed by a breathtaking Varmala. The couple looked divine in intricately embroidered blush pink ensembles.
Reception
Conceptualized with the theme of ‘Vintage Garden’, the enchanting Reception of the classy white décor and spring blooms exuded a Parisian vibe. A lush green entryway led to the festivities, along with a floral print ceiling hung with a crystal chandelier. Blooms in gorgeous hues of peach, pink, purple and white, decked every surface in myriad arrangements with pops of Lavender for a fun surprise. Formal chairs were swapped out for lush velvet sofas and fluffy cushions in blush and grey for a cozy feel, while candles abundantly cast a warm romantic glow on this enchanting evening.
