Exuding laid-back luxury at every turn, this couple’s pre-wedding celebrations at SO Sofitel Hua Hin gave glamor a serene twist

Savoring every moment of the festivities right before they got hitched, Biswaranjan and Samridhi made the most out of their pre-wedding celebrations hosted at SO Sofitel Hua Hin. Fringed by Thailand’s legendary beaches and punctuated by the salty sea breeze, the couple and their large families had a gala time as they swayed to the tunes of soothing music and immersed themselves in the local culture.
Nestled by the stunning Gulf of Thailand, SO Sofitel Hua Hin is a haven of serenity where visitors can enjoy the tropical coastline and leave their worries behind as they enjoy delicious meals and dip their toes in the foamy waves. Packed with five beautiful event venues, this hotel fit the bill perfectly for Biswaranjan and Samridhi who wanted to host a series of laid-back celebrations where everyone could unwind without a care in the world.
First in the lineup of events was a relaxing ‘Coke Studio Evening’ where the guests were treated to soulful tunes and a dramatic sunset sky. Decorated with LED candles that cast a warm glow over the proceedings, the event exuded an inviting aura where everyone enjoyed drinks as they swayed to the tunes of the live music. Hosted on the lawn under the open sky with a canopy of vintage bulbs overhead, the decor for this evening consisted of a huge stage, shimmery tablecloths and pastel blooms.
The very next day, the festivities kicked off with a quirky pool party where the guests also got a taste of the local Thai culture with traditional dancers entertaining them and coconut water keeping them cool. With shaded seating areas draped with multi-hued canopies, a tiki bar, a giant Jenga game, colorful hats as favors, fan painting counters and oriental parasols – the pool party was delightfully breezy.
Saving the best for the last, the couple’s engagement party was high on the glitz! Hosted by the shoreline, the event flaunted a stunning chrome entrance walkway lined with baby’s breath blooms. The decor color palette includes pastel hues of peach, blue and pink while larger-than-life blooms decorated the stage where the couple exchanged rings. As the couple exchanged rings fireworks lit up the sky. Later the couple waltzed on the dancefloor while their loved ones cheered them on.
