Organized by Woman’s Extravaganza, Brides of Mumbai is one of the most awaited shows at the onset of the festive/wedding shopping season. The exhibition showcases designers like Rohit Verma (who has been a part of the showcase consecutively for 7 shows) and many other emerging designers and creative entrepreneurs- specialists in trousseau, gifting, accessories and services like makeup & hairstyling, wedding planning, decor and catering. The exhibition starts on 5th July and is on till 7th July at the World Trade Center, Cuffe Parade, Mumbai.
According to Sarika Mehta Desai, the organizer of Brides of Mumbai, whether you are getting married or not there is loads to shop, for everyone and across budgets. She adds: “The show is culturally versatile and on showcase are a variety of wear and accessories- contemporary and stylish designer wear, traditional weaves, modern and traditional jewellery, bling-rich personal accessories, elegant home decor and beauty products from brands like ‘Shiva’s Abode’.
Brides of Mumbai is known to pamper visitors with a host of complimentary services like saree draping workshops, spa treatments, makeovers, henna applications and more. Noted Bollywood Sari Stylist and author of the coffee table book ‘The Whole 9 Yards’, Kalpana Shah will conduct a sari draping workshop between 1:30 pm and 3:30 pm on all 3 days. Bollywood mehendi artist, Veena Nagda, will treat guests to complimentary mehendi applications! Guests can get their nails in shape and style them with a meticulous nail art service or indulge in relaxing spa services.
