US-based Anokhi and Dhruv envisioned a royal wedding that honored their Indian heritage. Their dream unfolded in Jodhpur, where the rich hues and exquisite designs reflected Rajasthan’s heritage and vibrant culture. The exquisite palace wedding, artfully brought to life by WeddingSutra Favorite – Atrezzo Decor, was a true fairy tale come alive.
The traditional elegance of the Taj Hari Mahal in Jodhpur framed their wedding festivities. Throughout their planning, the couple shared their preferences and ideas from afar, while their families in India took the lead on key decisions and on-site visits, collaborating closely with Team Atrezzo Decor to craft a stunning design that reflected their vision.
Founder Taskeen Poonawalla shares, “As decor designers, we love exploring new venues to see what’s possible in each space. Site visits are always enjoyable, and having the freedom to brainstorm themes is a bonus. Our clients trust us to explore ideas while keeping budgets in mind, allowing for creative collaboration. We meticulously plan each event, choosing unique props and fabrics to ensure they stand out. Haldi
The Haldi and Welcome lunch kicked off the wedding celebrations, infusing the atmosphere with a vibrant, earthy charm. The use of dry spices and vegetables, such as turmeric and onion, complemented by wooden baskets and a mix of dried and bright flowers, created a lively and colorful setting that perfectly set the tone for the festivities.
Mehndi
A Mehndi celebration unfolded in a traditional Mela setting on the outskirts of Jodhpur, where an enchanting entry tunnel adorned with vibrant drapes and embroidered umbrellas welcomed guests. The air was filled with the fragrance of flowers and the charm of local crafts, transporting everyone to a magical realm. Bold hues and traditional patterns mingled with Rajasthani puppets, trinkets, and eclectic wall art, creating a feast for the senses. Bright blooms, shimmering tinsel, and kaleidoscopic decorations added to the captivating atmosphere, making the event truly unforgettable.
Sangeet
The sangeet evening was glamor galore, adorned in shimmering gold and silver, featuring dazzling decor that included mirrored accents, disco balls, and captivating mirror installations. Lush greenery and twinkling lights created an enchanted forest ambiance, complemented by a breathtaking stage backdrop and furnishings. Every detail was meticulously curated, but the true highlight of the night was a vibrant Rajasthani folk performance by Mame Khan, which set the atmosphere ablaze.
Wedding
The wedding unfolded in the heart of Taj Hari Mahal, an ornate setting with authentic Jarokhas flanking the pool. The enchanting venue was ideal for the Mandap, exuding a royal and classic charm. The flaming palette of red and orange blooms danced together with the soft glow of candlelight, illuminating the grandeur of the architecture, and creating a truly fairytale atmosphere.
