Filmmaker Rahat Mahajan and Gloria had ‘Virtual Guests’ for their Intimate Lockdown Wedding at home

Former Congress Legislator and notable hotelier in Kangra, Himachal Pradesh, Ajay Mahajan’s son, Rahat Mahajan, recently got married to his lady love Gloria Valdez in an intimate ceremony at their home in Pathankot, Punjab. The couple, who are based in Los Angeles, came to India last year for the shooting of Rahat’s upcoming feature film ‘Meghdoot’. They celebrated their nuptials in an intimate ceremony amidst the nationwide lockdown due to the Covid-19 pandemic at their family home in Pathankot.
Despite the unforeseen circumstances, the lovebirds took the plunge and tied the knot with their close family present. Their friends and extended family members also participated in the celebration via video conferencing.
After a small pooja, Rahat and Gloria got married following traditional Hindu ceremonies. The bride looked stunning in her red lehenga, while the groom looked dapper in an elegant bottle-green kurta with a red stole.
Rahat shared his feelings by narrating beautiful poetry, “As two trees, with our roots entwined for all time to come, we look at the path ahead with hope and eyes filled with wonder. And even though these times may feel uncertain, we surrender to our union with joy, love, and grace, and with a prayer for what is to come.”
He thanked everyone for witnessing their lovely union and shares, “Thank you all for your generous blessings, from across the world, for our small and humble wedding, and to our families and friends, many of whom could only be present in spirit and due to the gift of the internet.
We wish the newlyweds a happy married life.
