Flower Power at Nawab Adnan Ul Mulk and Nida Farooqui’s splendid engagement at Palazzo Versace Dubai
Dubai, which is one of the most luxurious destinations in the world, has become a hotspot for some of the most glitzy high-profile weddings in recent years. When it was time for Shaji Ul Mulk, head of the $2 billion Mulk Holdings conglomerate, to host his son Nawab Adnan Ul Mulk’s engagement to Nida Farooqui, he picked the Palazzo Versace Dubai as the venue. The grand celebrations were planned by WeddingSutra Favorite Cineyug Celebrations and the stunning decor was set up by Event Chic Designs.
Set in the heart of the Culture Village, less than 15 minutes away from Dubai International Airport, Palazzo Versace Dubai is conveniently located along the shores of the historic Dubai Creek. A neoclassical palace that combines elements of Arabian architecture, the property offers classy venues and world-class facilities.
The engagement took place in the hotel’s Gala Ballroom which was lit with the glow of impressive chandeliers and candles set in elegant glass vases.
WeddingSutra Favorite Cineyug Celebrations and Event Chic Designs transformed the venue into a spring garden using blooms in shades of pink and white with lush foliage as accents to add a vibrant touch to the muted palette. An elevation created at the end of the ballroom with its backdrop of flowerbeds and golden arches made for the stage for the ceremony.
Each table was decked with flower arrangements in tall stands, and the theme was repeated on the napkin rings that had the design of roses created with tiny white pearls. A colossal customized floral chandelier was one of the key highlights of the decor. Transparent chairs set around circular tables further added shine to the celebrations. Despite the venue being indoors, space was resplendent with the freshness and beauty of a garden in bloom.
