From ‘Arabian Nights’ to ‘Star Wars,’ this Singapore wedding featured memorable decor themes at key functions

From the mystical vibe of ‘Arabian Nights,’ to a galaxy far, far away, WeddingSutra Favorite – Impressario Inc. took Anusha, Jayraj, and their wedding guests on a delightful trip through seven functions in Singapore for which they created memorable setups and designs.
The floral-themed youngsters’ party at the Barbary Coast was the first of many grand events of #theSinghAndHoi nuptials, which began with drinking, dancing, and a whole lot of wedding revelries. However, the highlight of the evening was the couple’s marvelous entry twinning in matching ensembles.
The ‘Aladdin’-themed sangeet night at the expansive ballroom of Swissôtel The Stamford hotel was decorated in jewel-tones of pink, purple, and teal with gold accents replicating the ‘Arabian Nights’ vibe. From the entrance archways to Mediterranean accents such as lanterns and candles, everything about the setup exuded an exotic and mystical charm.
Haldi and Mehndi
A simple yet gorgeous set up with a contrasting blue and yellow color palette made a pretty picture at the joint haldi and mehndi ceremonies at the bride’s residence. The Impressario Inc. team added a decorative and traditional touch to the entrance with fresh marigold blooms.
The groom’s side of the maiyan ceremony was held at his residence, and it was a colorful affair with vivid pink and yellow drapes, vibrant rangoli, and strings of bright yellow and orange marigold flowers.
After the celebrations at their respective houses, the bride and groom celebrated their joint mehndi dinner at the SKAI restaurant where Impressario Inc. added a traditional touch to the function with ethnic Indian decor elements. With the guests taking to the stage and singing melodious songs as well as enjoying delectable food, the evening was a relaxed and refreshing affair.
After the long list of pre-wedding functions, Anusha and Jayraj tied the knot early in the morning in an Anand Karaj ceremony held at the Central Sikh Gurdwara, in Singapore, which was witnessed by their family members and close friends.
Post the laavans (four pheras), the newlyweds threw a ‘Star Wars’ themed bash at the Fairmont Singapore, where team Impressario Inc. beautifully transformed the venue into a galaxy with glistening grey table runners, fresh white blooms, and the judicious use of warm lights.
