Kunal Samtani’s extravagant wedding to Divya Vaswani at the Splash Beach Resort, Mai Khao Phuket, Thailand, was at par with the #DeepVeer nuptials when it came to scale, sensational decor and gorgeous looks. The luxurious hotel lent itself seamlessly to the mood of the wedding and elevated the cheer of the festivities. In addition to the wide range of accommodation and dining outlets, the property also has on-site waterpark and spa which ensured that the guests did not have a single dull moment.
Kunal, who is the scion of the Hong Kong-based Samtani business empire, first met Divya at a party in Hong Kong and after that there was no looking back. Over the four-day affair, the cynosure of all eyes, apart from the stylish couple, was Mala Samtani, the groom’s mother. The wedding also saw the who’s who of Bollywood dressed to the nines! Akshay Kumar, Twinkle Khanna, Salman Khan, and Esha Gupta were in attendance as Kunal and Divya tied the knot.
A youthful Mala cut a dashing figure in exquisite outfits and gorgeous jewelry. Her ensembles were from various leading designers, and her jewellery was from top names such as Farah Ali Khan, Temptations, Gehna Jewellers, Royal Enterprises, and Butani Jewellery. Makeup maestro Ojas Rajani did her makeup and was responsible for Mala’s glowing and fresh visage all through the long, fun ceremonies.
The wedding celebrations were a fitting culmination of a lovely relationship that started at a New Year Eve party in Hong Kong and reached the next step when Kunal proposed to Divya on the eve of his birthday. He took her to their favorite date spot at Repulse Bay in Hong Kong and went down on one knee and popped the question.

The festivities started with a pool party which caused quite a splash!
