About the Couple
Nitin is a photographer, and Shanaya who worked as a flight crew member with a premium airline is now Nitin’s partner at work. They still found an anchor in each other and would do anything to see each other happy. But work sometimes got in the way of life, so Nitin decided to surprise Shanaya with a trip to Gulmarg, Kashmir. She had a dream of being captured as a bride amidst the magic and splendor of snow-clad mountains, so Nitin focused on ways to make that dream come true.
The adventure junkies were not deterred by the sub-zero temperatures in Kashmir which reached as low as minus 15 degrees Celsius sometimes. That’s because Nitin didn’t want to leave any stone unturned in fulfilling Shanaya’s wish of having a white wedding and having a fairytale ceremony complete with a gown fit for royalty.
The results of their photo shoot look – cinematic and dramatic like a film. Nitin’s talented team of photographers showcased their expertise and skills with lighting and multiple angles to create just the right mood and atmosphere. It may seem that the couple is going to burst into song in many frames, but an evocative image of the two embracing each other is sure to stay with you. The photos do justice to the beautiful environs of Gulmarg with its snow-clad mountains, remote cottages and a pristine white blanket of snow that forms a striking backdrop. The contrast between the warm chemistry of the couple caught on camera against the icy canvas makes for compelling viewing.
