Kim and Sebastian’s colorful pre-wedding photoshoot in Bangalore

Kim and Sebastian wanted to relive their courtship in India and picked the hustle of Bangalore’s Commercial Street for their pre-wedding shoot.
How we met
Kim was still in school when we first met in Germany. Work took us to Bangalore, India and it was there that our love blossomed. We’ve been together for the longest time.
Pre-wedding shoot
We wanted to create an ode to the beautiful city of Bangalore and chose our favorite location, Commercial Street, for an artistic pre-wedding photoshoot. With that decided, Kim started looking for photographers and found Manvi Gandotra at 1Plus1 Studio who was thrilled at the idea of capturing the story of two Germans in India.
Manvi created a mood board for the shoot and we started brainstorming about different ideas, poses and outfit options. We wanted the shoot to be natural and simple but still have a distinct Indian touch to it. Instead of focusing on the clothes, we wanted to capture the true spirit and diversity of India by capturing the colorful personality of Commercial Street.
Usually, the street is bustling with people, vendors and shoppers, but on that particular day, it was quiet and beautiful. We shot inside the bamboo groves at Cubbon Park with props like smoke bombs and sparklers to add a fun element. The absolute highlight of the day was when a kind stranger even allowed us to shoot on his vintage white Vespa!
It was a special day that left us with a lot of happiness and memories that we will reminisce forever.
