Lakmé Absolute Bridal Beauty Trends – Bold Red Lips

It’s tough for brides to decide on a specific look for their wedding given the plethora of bridal inspirations and options that are available from season to season.
However, today’s brides are also pushing beauty boundaries to look unique. That’s where striking trends come into play, and today the buzz is all about sharply sculpted bold red lips.
If you want to make a statement, red is the way to go. Bright red lips, strong brows, and simple eyes are some of the hottest bridal makeup trends this wedding season.
We gave bride-to-be Akanksha bold red lips at our recent ‘WeddingSutra on Location’ session. Makeup artist Minee Khanna worked her magic via her trusted range from Lakmé’s Kareena Kapoor Khan Collection.
She started by using the Lakmé Absolute Illuminating Foundation that gave Akanksha’s skin a dewy and silky look. The lips were the main focus of this look, and they were further intensified with the Kareena Kapoor Khan Lakmé Absolute Pout Definer in Red Seductress.
To make them stand out even more, Minee highlighted Akanksha’s lips by applying a highlighting powder around them before putting on the lipstick. With a soft hint of rosy blush to accentuate the apples of the cheeks, Minee used the Lakmé Absolute Face Stylist Blush Duos in Rose Blush to finish the look.
