Makeup Artist, Kajol R Paswwan decided to experiment with this style in the latest edition of WeddingSutra on Location with the bride’s sister-in-law. To play up the modern appeal of the look, she went all out with deep blue pigments with lots of sparkles from the Lakmé Absolute Illuminating Eye Shadow Palette in Royal Persia. She intensified her eyelids using the Lakmé Absolute Kohl Ultimate and smudged it for a smokey effect. She then coated the lashes using the Lakmé Absolute Flutter Secrets Volume Mascara.
While she left the face fresh with a healthy flush courtesy the Kareena Kapoor Khan Lakmé Absolute Cheek Contour – Peach Princess and some pink tint on her lips, Kajol brought a surprising intensity by dabbing glittering silver dust on top.
This is a look that works with a majority of skin tones and is ideal for the evening but works well for day wedding ceremonies too if you are wearing a muted outfit.
