Give contouring a break and try strobing – the luminous look you’ve been seeing on everyone from runway models to our favorite bloggers. For brides and bridesmaids alike, go subtle with the strobing technique which focuses exclusively on the highlighter.
Ace makeup artist Ojas Rajani recently deconstructed the strobing technique for bride-to-be Alisha Murpani at WeddingSutra On Location. Strobing involves application of the highlighter where light would naturally hit your face. Ojas used the Lakmé Absolute Moonlit Highlighter to achieve the luminous glow on her cheekbones, brow bones, center of Alisha’s forehead, just below her nose over the cupid’s bow and on her chin.
