Mana Shetty’s new initiative Araaish Trousseau to be held at Four Seasons, Mumbai
Araaish Trousseau a new initiative of Araaish, the coveted Fashion Exhibition organised by actor Sunil Shetty’s wife Mana Shetty takes place at Four Seasons, Mumbai on 3rd and 4th September. A unique property in aid of Save The Children India, the exhibition is dedicated to being a one-stop fashion destination for brides and grooms to be. It is curated by Mana Shetty and her sister Isha Mehra (the Board of Trustees of Save The Children India), along with mother-daughter duo Sharmila and Shaan Khanna.
The participating designers include Shehlaa Khan, Shyamal and Bhumika, Anjali & Arjun Kapoor, Nidhi Tholia and Sonia Mahajan. Participating jewellers include Maheep Kapoor, Renu Oberoi, Paayal Sud, PC Totuka Sons, Tara Jewels, Srishti Jewels, Saloni Deorah and Satyani’s Jewellers. Apart from clothes, jewellery, accessories, etc, the Save The Children India stall will retail handcrafted, high-quality products made by adolescent girls and young women, who are part of its Women’s Institute for Social Education (WISE) initiative.
Says Mana Shetty whose mother Vipula Kadri founded Save The Children India 25 years ago: “The Big Fat Indian Wedding is now universally loved. From the clothes and jewellery to the music and dancing, and rituals and décor, the nuances of a traditional Indian wedding have become a global inspiration. This is why, in its 25th year, Save The Children India is proud to launch Araaish Trousseau.”
