Meha and Nikunj’s Pre-Wedding Shoot at Udaipur’s Taj Lake Palace, Rajasthan

Udaipur’s Taj Lake Palace hotel, located in the middle of Lake Pichola, is a stunning attraction of white marble, mosaic and beautiful arches. Built in 1746 by Maharaja Jagat Singh II who was the 62nd successor to the Mewar dynasty, the Taj Lake Palace hotel is an iconic tourist attraction in the city.

Its compelling fusion of of art, design, history, and nature makes it the perfect canvas for a pre-wedding photo shoot. Meha and Nikunj feel in love with the property as it had everything that they desired for a standout experience. Nikunj shares some highlights of their stunning pre-wedding photo shoot. here

How We Met
“We met in an arranged marriage set up. I would not say that Meha and I clicked the first time we met. However, after that first meeting, we were sure that we wanted to see each other again and get to know each other. The next time we met, we got the chance to know each other better. We were more comfortable talking to each other and a bit more confident about taking things ahead. After that meeting, we kept in touch, and by the end of 2017, we knew we wanted to tie the knot with each other.”

Pre-Wedding Shoot
“The biggest challenge for us was getting permission to shoot at the beautiful Taj Lake Palace in Udaipur which we had chosen as our pre-wedding shoot location. Thanks to a friend, we managed to sort it all out, and the process took almost a month. A lot of intricate details were worked out very quickly. For our theme, we combined traditional, elegant, and royal elements, and picked our outfits accordingly. We were very happy with our photographer Anoop who helped us throughout the shoot. Initially, it was a little challenging for both of us to face the camera, but Anoop helped us feel comfortable. The palace was so pretty in itself that we did not really source many props for the shoot. The warm hospitality of the staff there made the entire experience even more memorable for us.”
