Minimalistic yet glam, this couple’s sun-drenched engagement ceremony was a breezy celebration!

Surrounded by greenery and hosted in the groom’s farmhouse, this couple’s engagement ceremony was a refreshing one with its delicate floral decor. Designed byWeddingSutra Favorite – Wedlock Weddings by Vima, this event had everyone shaking a leg freely while they enjoyed the beauty of the natural surroundings around them.
Sanjana shares, “We have been dating for the past three years. From day one itself, we instinctively knew that this was meant to be. But we decided to take our time and get to know each other better.”
Sharing the vision she had in her mind and how the design team made their dreams come to life, Sanjana says, “We took our time as we started scouting for wedding planners and designers. I came across Wedlock Weddings by Vima and was quite impressed with their work. I spoke to the team on what I was looking for and within half an hour, I was given a mood board We then dived into a discussion about the minute details and everything went ahead smoothly. Since day one, I was quite reassured and had no qualms about handing over the reins to team Wedlock Weddings by Vima. And, as expected, everything happened right on time just Like we’d imagined.”
Interspersed with white blooms and gold elements, the decor was glamorous yet minimalistic chic. The delicate white hue was beautifully contrasted by tall metallic vases and lanterns that cast a golden glow over the proceedings. An LED sign with the couple’s monogram made for the perfect photo-op while customized coconuts carved with the same monogram kept the guests cool as they danced to the beats of the dhol. Sanjana shares, “From the very beginning we wanted to have an intimate celebration and Suraj’s newly built farmhouse with its airy interiors and lush greenery was the perfect place for it. We started the event off with a ring exchange after which everyone shook a leg to the beats of the dhol. On the decor front, I was quite keen on having a very crisp colour palette. Consequently, we selected green and white hues which were amped up by dashes of gold and silver. This ensured the decor looked good during the day as well as the night.”
