Ranveer Singh Outshines Every Groom in His Wedding Outfits

Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh’s wedding are here and we just can’t help swooning over them. It’s been a long wait but Deepika and Ranveer finally released pictures from their two-day wedding on Instagram. No captions were necessary – a simple heart emoticon did the job. Here are a few details about Ranveer’s wedding outfits that made sure that no groom can ever outshine him.

Mehndi

At the Mehndi ceremony, the handsome groom was seen in a printed cotton angrakha and an embroidered silk bundi by Sabyasachi.

Konkani Wedding

For the first wedding ceremony, as per Konkani rituals, Deepika was the perfect South Indian bride while Ranveer complemented her in an ivory white silk kurta paired with a dhoti and ‘mundavlya’ tied across his forehead for the ceremony. All of this was custom designed by Sabyasachi Mukherjee for the celebrity couple. We love the subtlety and simplicity of the outfit!

Sindhi Wedding

Cut to the North Indian wedding where the couple picked traditional red for the day. Ranveer chose a red Kanjeevaram sherwani by Sabyasachi Mukherjee paired with a leheriya safa and layered jewellery made of diamonds, emeralds, and garnets. When was the last time you saw a groom with an accessory game on point?

Sabyasachi, the designer who styled the couple for most all their wedding looks, collaborated with Christian Louboutin and came up with bespoke juttis for their wedding day.
