StyleSpotting with Tanishq and Mumbai designer Riddhi Majithia
Bridal Fashion and Beauty - Dec 15, 2014
As part of our series ‘STYLESPOTTING WITH TANISHQ’, our editorial team goes in search of stylish bridal looks with Tanishq to some of the most exciting new bridal designers in the city.
For our latest StyleSpotting feature, we chose Mumbai based designer Riddhi Majithia. Her bridal collection is vibrant and chic featuring a mix of unique colors and interesting details. Here is how we styled two of her creations with some exquisite bridal jewellery from Tanishq.
Sangeet Elegance
Navy blue sets an elegant tone for this full skirted lehenga ensemble with antique gold embroidery, peach dupatta and lime green choli. We paired it with an exquisite Kundan neckpiece from Tanishq with teardrop polkis at the base and partaj engraving on the surrounding petals.
Accessorize it with a chaand bali tikka, a gold studded clutch, smokey dramatic eyes, coral lips and loose soft curls twisted on one side- and we have a bride who knows how to mix elegance with glamour.
Merriful Mehndi
Our favourite hue for brides in all seasons, this embellished lehenga in fuschia is a lovely choice for the Mehndi. Wear it with a V-shape necklace from Tanishq’s bridal collection featuring stunning phool patti engraving in gold with Polki.
Style your hair as a one-sided messy fishtail braid, go for subtle eye-shadow, dark blue liner and hot pink lipstick and look every bit the dazzling bride all-ready to adorn her hands with Mehndi.
