The Bollywood blockbuster ‘Dilwale Dulhaniya Le Jaayenge’ is often seen as the epitome of romance, and it had a role to play in Ansh and Sanjana’s love story, that culminated in them tying the knot. All the events of their wedding celebrations were flawlessly conceptualized and executed by WeddingSutra Favorite – Mokshiva Entertainment. Check out some highlights here.
How They Met
Sanjana shares, “Ansh and I have been colleagues since 2018. We soon realized we shared a special connection and started dating, but never made it public. At our corporate offsite event in 2019 at Hotel Tropical Retreat, in Igatpuri, we took part in a Bollywood-themed costume party where we danced as a couple dressed as Raj and Simran from the blockbuster hit ‘Dilwale Dulhania Le Jaayenge.'”
Wedding Venue
“When our parents asked us about our dream venue after our engagement in June 2019, our response was instant and unanimous, Hotel Tropical Retreat in Igatpuri! Not only is it incredibly beautiful, but it also held a special place in our hearts and memories. Our parents had visited it too earlier and found it to be a perfect location for a destination wedding.
Wedding Planning
The wedding decor was planned and executed by Mokshiva Entertainment. The special moments of the celebrations were captured by Picsurely. Beauty expert Nikka Shah gave the bride gorgeous looks for each function, while Sonika Mistry choreographed the sangeet performances.
Wedding Functions
Pooja
The celebrations began with an intimate prayer ceremony held at the bride’s house with her family to bless the beginning of the auspicious event.
Pool Party
The pool party was a lively sunkissed affair with quirky decor comprising drapes and flowers in hues of blues and pinks. Ansh looked elegant in a sky blue brunch blazer and white pants, while Sanjana’s ensemble matched the decor palette. She accessorized her outfit with floral jewelry, unique yellow bridal bangle ornaments and cascading tresses studded with pearls.
Sangeet
The sangeet function was a night of exuberance, music, and dance. The evening saw spectacular performances by the couple and their loved ones. Sanjana looked regal in a sparkling ensemble, while Ansh rocked an eclectic teal blue and white suit.
Wedding
The wedding ceremony took place in the hotel’s banquet hall, and every corner of the venue was covered with a profusion of pink and red flowers. Wearing a crimson lehenga and exquisite jewellery, Sanjana entered the venue under a floral canopy that matched the pink and red decor palette.
After Party
The festivities concluded with an outdoor after-party to mark the beginning of the couple’s new life. Sanjana and Ansh both wore matching purple ensembles, and spent the night dancing as their loved ones toasted to their future happiness.
