This wedding had all the stars shining down on the bride and her very own baraat!
Wedding Planning - Jul 1, 2025
When Nandini Sultania, who runs a menstrual awareness NGO called Kamakhya, tied the knot with businessman Abhishek Mittal, she had two very specific asks. One was that there should be a lot of personalization in the guest experience, and the other was that the baraat should be hatke, for her and her family too! WeddingSutra Favorite – Event Casa, who planned and executed the celebrations, ensured that both wishes came true.
Wedding Planning
Shobhit Jain and Ashi Tanwar from Event Casa say, “The bride is a true dance enthusiast. She dreamt of having a baraat that would make the wedding day equally memorable and fun for her side. To bring that vision to life, we orchestrated a vibrant bridal baraat featuring a striking pink open car, high-energy Nashik dhol players, and custom-designed stoles that added a touch of glamour and unity to the celebration.”
Haldi
With both families being deep devotees of Lord Krishna, the Haldi celebration was themed around Vrindavan. The event captured the spirit of Barsana Holi, bringing vibrant colors, playful energy, and divine charm to the day. It turned out to be one of the most joyfully celebrated moments of the wedding.
Sangeet
The couple’s entry for the sangeet was planned in a casino theme style. With celebrities like Ranveer Singh and Vaani Kapoor, joining artists Sonal Chauhan, Sagar Bhatia and DJ Sumit Sethi, it was a high energy celebration! And the reception had Adnan Sami belt out tunes for the enthralled guests!
Wedding
In a show of equality, the bride and groom both had baraats! Their entrances were celebrated with fireworks and cold pyros. The bride’s entry to the mandap was majestic, bringing to mind a Disney-palace scene, with an Indian touch. The mandap itself was covered with blooms, with diyas adding to a serene light, and “clouds” adding to the sense that this was a match made in heaven.
