Trotting the globe without a ticket – this couple’s travel-themed post-wedding celebrations will leave you highly inspired!

From the raw beauty of Cappadocia to the lush greenery of the Amazon Jungle, Shraddha Mehra, a lawyer, and Sanyam Mehra, a businessman’s vow renewal ceremony and post-wedding celebrations were a true spectacle. Spearheading their wedding squad and ensuring each event was in line with the couple’s vision was WeddingSutra Favorite – Desert Pearl Entertainment. Photographing their adorable moments and showstopping festivities was WeddingSutra Favorite – Happy Flashbacks.

Both Sanyam and Shradha had different approaches to their wedding. Shradha shared, “While I was focused on looking my best for the wedding, Sanyam was keen on hosting a royal wedding with a unique look. However, COVID-19 played havoc with our plans, and we ended up tying the knot at our home with family members in attendance. Later, in the month of September, we hosted post-wedding celebrations in Jaisalmer.”

The bride happily shares, “The planning team at Desert Pearl Entertainment was fabulous. They made sure that everything was perfect while being in sync with our vision! We had an amazing time as we celebrated some truly unforgettable moments.” She also goes on to praise the photography team who made both of them feel very comfortable. She says, “Happy Flashbacks was so accommodating, warm and comfortable. They understood our personalities and built a rapport with us. It was so easy to be our candid selves with them!”

Ishan Rajawat from Desert Pearl Entertainment shares, “The couple shares a great love for traveling. Hence, the first post-wedding celebration was based on Cappadocia in Turkey where the couple had traveled during their first year of courtship. Filled with earthy elements and dominated by a subtle sepia hue, the decor encapsulated the striking beauty of Cappadocia. Lanterns, pampas grass and pinecones at the event exuded a magical vibe with hot air balloons illustrated on placards.”

Next in line was an Amazon-inspired evening celebration. Ishan shares, “This was labeled ‘The Wild One’, the Amazon Jungle theme. It was full of lights, overgrown leaves, vines, flowers and neon lights that gave a magical aura to the event.”

Continuing the flurry of uniquely themed celebrations was a fun-filled Tomatina Festival-inspired event. Ishan elucidates, “The next day was a Tomatina Festival inspired by Spain. Friends and family enjoyed the Spanish culture by throwing tomatoes at each other and soaking in the sun. At the same time, we ensured that all safety protocols were followed as we encouraged everyone to wear masks and keep a safe distance.”

The couple then moved on to an event inspired by the delicate beauty of Japan. Ishan shares, “This one was a special celebration as a Christian Wedding was also hosted for the couple where they took their wedding vows again. Cherry blossoms in beautiful pink and white hues dominated the decor with acrylic furnishings for the guests. Overall, this was a fitting dream come true for the duo who previously had to tie the knot rather quickly given the pandemic.”
