Vagmi and Suraj’s Pre-Wedding Photo Shoot at McMaster University campus, Canada is stunning
Pre Wedding Photoshoots - Feb 26, 2018
Both students at McMaster University in Hamilton, Vagmi and Suraj were college sweethearts. In the run up to their wedding, the two wanted to spend some time alone and also revisit their early romance and decided on a pre-wedding shoot on the campus where they met and fell in love.
Captured by EM Photography, this couple’s pre-wedding shoot is beautiful and adorable. Here, the couple shares their journey of love and some interesting highlights from the fun shoot.
How we met
“We met in our first year of university. We were both 17 years old and had been assigned the same residence building. We started dating a couple of years later and it’s been quite a journey since then, with some long distance in between. Now we both live and work in Toronto.”
Pre-Wedding Shoot
“We thought it made sense to go back to where it all began, at McMaster University. The campus is absolutely beautiful and I had always imagined taking our engagement pictures there. Hamilton is also known for its waterfalls, and Tiffany Falls is where we went on one of our dates.
Once the locations were decided, it was easy to pick out outfits and the props that we were going to use. We purchased matching McMaster sweatshirts for us. We still had some of our undergraduate textbooks stowed away which made for great props as well.
It was raining heavily on the morning of our shoot and for a while, we were unsure if we would be able to carry on with it. However, once we arrived in Hamilton, the rain cleared and the weather was perfect!
It was wonderful to relive some of the memories we made while we were there. We took pictures outside the various buildings we had classes as well as the building where we lived in our first year.
The most special part of the shoot was the opportunity to incorporate our fur baby, Burfi, into the shoot. We were very excited for him to be a part of these pictures.
One of the highlights was when we went into the waterfall to take pictures. The water was freezing and the stones beneath were very slippery. However, we had a great time being silly with each other and our very talented photographer got some of the best shots there. We were drenched by the time he finished but we had a blast the whole time!”
