Wedding Inspiration of the Week- Shangri-La Hotel, Paris

What’s more romantic than getting married in the city of love? With its stunning architecture, old-world charm, history and elegant style, Paris is a dream destination for many couples. Shangri-La Hotel Paris on Avenue d’Iéna in the Trocadéro district is a magical setting in which to hold your wedding, gracefully blending Oriental design influences and classic French decor.

The hotel has 65 rooms and 36 suites with commanding view of the Eiffel Tower and the River Seine. Three superb signature suites are perfect for intimate receptions: the 150 m² Suite Chaillot including a 40 m² terrace with a view of the Eiffel Tower, the 220 m² Suite Panoramique including a 100 m² terrace with a sweeping view from Montmartre to Trocadéro and the 275 m² Suite Impériale, once the private apartment of Roland Bonaparte. The hotel also has 4 reception rooms that can be fully privatized to host up to 500 people for a cocktail reception, 280 people for a sit-down dinner and 150 people for a dance party. Three of these reception rooms are listed as Historical Monuments, and accessible through a beautiful majestic marble stairwell. Its first-floor terrace with a magnificent view of the Eiffel Tower – possibly one of the finest in Paris – can also be made available for private functions.

Our Editors have put together a Mood Board for a classic and romantic wedding at Shangri-La Hotel Paris featuring stunning views of the Eiffel Tower, a chic gold shimmer saree by Tarun Tahiliani and decor elements, set-ups from real weddings at Shangri-La.
