Ashwin & Jhalak of Shades Photography photographed the wedding of Dubai-based Deepti Harjani and Sanjay Keshup. Tennis and photography are two things that brought this couple together- they dated for three years before tying the knot at a Destination Wedding in Grand Hyatt, Goa.
About the couple’s pre-wedding photo shoot, Ashwin & Jhalak say: “We wanted an elaborate pre-wedding shoot for the couple, as they both are very enthusiastic when it comes to trying new concepts. Sanjay himself is a photographer, so he wanted his shoot to be very novel and detailed, and we starting working on the concept a month ago. When we thought about the location for the shoot, we couldn’t think of a better location than the hotel itself. Grand Hyatt, Goa is huge and incorporates various scenic indoor and outdoor areas, which made it ideal for us to get some amazing shots. Usually, the weather in Goa in September is unfavorable for outdoor photoshoots. But when we started Deepti and Sanjay’s shoot on the scheduled day, we got lucky as it didn’t rain at all and everything went off well in a time span of 3 to 4 hours.”
Regarding the photo shoot concept, Ashwin adds, “These look like still photos but actually feature a subtle area of movement designed to grab your eye and keep you looking. The way it brings back certain part of the photo to life is simply stunning.”
