Zubin and Aashna’s Stunning Pre-Wedding Photo Shoot at Taj Exotica Resort and Spa, Maldives

Formed and reformed by the soft lapping of the Indian Ocean, the archipelago of the Maldives is unquestionably one of the most beautiful tropical places on the globe. The powdery beaches, the fishing hamlets of the southern isles, the warm locals – there is a lure like no other to this paradise so close to the Indian subcontinent.
Here, the couple share their beautiful journey of love and highlights from the shoot captured by Ram Bherwani.
Like so many before them, Zubin and Aashna fell in love with it and planned a beautiful pre-wedding shoot at the Taj Exotica Resort and Spa situated in this idyll.
How we met
A formal arranged meeting turned into several across Mumbai and Delhi as Zubin and Aashna realized they were meant for each other. Their growing fondness for each other led to a heartwarming roka for close family members and friends at the Taj Lands End, Chambers Room. This was followed by an extravagant celebration at the Taj Lands End Ballroom, the onset of the #A2Z celebrations!
Proposal and Pre-Wedding Shoot
Zubin, formally proposed to Aashna in one of the most picturesque and romantic destinations in the world – Maldives. The groom planned a pre-wedding shoot in the Maldives at the Taj Exotica. He took his gorgeous bride Aashna on a private boat and as champagne flowed amongst the flowers he proposed, Aashna was surprised as what had seemed like just a pre-wedding shoot in Maldives, actually turned out to be a beautifully planned proposal! Ram Bherwani captured the couple at their candid best. The entire experience was truly a fairy tale in its own right for the new Mr. and Mrs!
