As the brides arrived at the location, talented makeup artists Simran Shah and Megha Kothari got set to work their magic. Their ammo to create the most beguiling looks for the four brides included products from India’s favorite beauty brand, and a favorite amongst Indian brides: Lakmé. The versatile range of Lakmé products makes it a top choice for Indian skin tones.
Here’s a peek at the beauty looks created for the photoshoot, which were all executed keeping in mind the preferences of a modern Indian bride.
Royal Glamor
For the tulle-inspired photoshoot, regional actress Mitali Mayekar donned a gown with a floral bodice, tulle skirt and a wreath made out of gypsophila. The spring-like hues of her outfit inspired the makeup artist to create a natural look that accentuated the bride’s gorgeous features. Lakmé Absolute Matte Ultimate Lip Color with Argan Oil in Rose Pink gave the bride’s lips a stunning pink tint, while her shimmery nude eye makeup was created using the Lakmé Absolute Eye Color Baked Shadow, completing her spring-Goddess look.
The Whimsical Wonder
Bride Rashi’s tulle ensemble, with her hair weaved into a luscious braid, made her look as if she’d walked right out of a fairytale. The look created for the bride complemented the soft flowy silhouette of her attire, with the makeup artist using Lakmé Absolute Matte Ultimate Lip Color with Argan Oil in Soft Nude to give her the perfect peachy-nude lips, which went beautifully with her soft, dewy eyes. Just the right amount of Lakmé Kareena Kapoor Khan Absolute Cheek Contour in Peach Princess was applied on her cheeks. Making A Statement
Bride Mansi’s look for the shoot was all about making a striking statement. Channeling the bride’s persona, the makeup artist chose a deeper pink hue, creating a stunning contrast against her pale pink tulle lehenga. The bride’s lips were covered in Lakmé Absolute Matte Ultimate Lip Color with Argan Oil in Orchid Pink. However, the key component of this look was the use of Lakmé Absolute Matte Real Skin Natural Mousse in Rose Fair.

Subtle Peach Romance
Bride Lucky Patel’s contemporary pearl blouse and ruffled tulle lehenga made her look like a beautiful mermaid. Taking inspiration from the pearly blouse, the makeup artist used Lakmé Absolute Matte Ultimate Lip Color With Argan Oil in Brunch Nude to give her the perfect peachy nude lips with a slight sheen. The neutral base of her makeup and shimmery eyes, lined with the precision using Lakmé Absolute Shine Liquid Eye Liner in Black, struck the perfect balance of elegance and contemporary charm.
