The location for the Bridal Diaries shoot was the luxurious JW Marriott Mumbai Juhu. This unparalleled location overlooking the sparkling Arabian Sea is a premium luxury property that is peaceful despite its proximity to Mumbai’s domestic and international airports. Team WeddingSutra discovered a range of contemporary venues and stylish experiences here. We put together an inspiring storyboard to bring to life visions of a wedding at JW Marriott Mumbai Juhu.
Fairytale bridal finesse
A contemporary bride picked this stunning, statement antique bridal choker, elevated with rows of dainty flowers that are studded with rubies and South Sea pearls. Perfectly perched on her collar-bones, it complemented her immaculate white and gold lehenga for the traditional occasion. Dainty dual-levelled jhumkis, traditional gold haathphool in an antique finish and a ruby studded kada completed the set. The bride’s heavily embellished lehenga is by Cherie D by Sherina Dalamal. The makeup for this look was striking with a dark crimson pout and gold eyes that added to her glam quotient.

Enduring enigmatic elegance
The bride’s beautiful lehenga by Manish Malhotra in traditional fiery red was perfectly enhanced by this elaborate choker which rendered modern motifs of nature in traditional gemstones and gold beads. This stellar piece from Manubhai Jewellers was paired with chunky jhumkis in gold that brought movement in gold beads. Ethereal and fascinating, the bride’s traditional solid kadas in an antique finish with red enameling, pearls and gemstones were a part of the bespoke jewellery collection by Manubhai Jewellers. Finished with an exquisite, exotic radiance via smokey eye makeup enhanced with kohl and a pretty red pout – this is the timeless traditional bride.

Flawless royal elegance
The charm of tradition is evident in this bride’s gold, temple necklace by Manubhai Jewellers. The intricate detailing is a feature of the entire set – unique etching at the curve of the neck echoed in the swing of the legacy inspired jhumkis. A gorgeous floral lehenga by Shyamal and Bhumika replete with delicate detail was accessorized with bangles and kadas in a matte antique finish and a gold ring with a white parab. Effortlessly regal, the look came together with side swept soft curls and a bold pink pout.
