StyleSpotting With Azva

Team WeddingSutra collaborates with leading bridal jewelry brand Azva and bridal wear designers Riddhi Majithia and PLEATS by Kaksha & Dimple, to create looks for your next festive occasion.

Here in India, we love gold. We love the way the precious metal yields to craftsmanship to emerge in various avatars of our heritage aesthetic, rich with tangible worth and emotional value.

Azva understands our faceted love for gold and have secured their place as a market leader with their exquisite design story and outstanding craftsmanship. Their 22- karat gold handcrafted bridal jewellery offers versatility and beauty and allows brides to don their favorite celebration pieces even once their own wedding is done.

In collaboration with Azva and some leading brands in the fashion space, we curated looks in honor of the modern woman with contemporary style.

Riddhi Majithia and PLEATS by Kaksha & Dimple dressed bride-to-be Deeksha Dolani in exquisite ensembles that had her looking like she was ready to be the center of attention at any celebration. Lekha Shah swept her hair in styles that flattered her face and using her expert makeup skills, highlighted Deeksha’s strongest features. Novotel Mumbai Juhu Beach was a treasury of gorgeous vistas that elevated the frames captured by WeddingSutra Favourite Clicks Unlimited.

Look 1: Brother’s Wedding Brunch
If you want an on-trend, super stylish look, this Azva necklace is the one for you. This reversible piece features relief work and floral carvings with polki on the front. The back features designs created using white enamel, encrusted with polki diamonds. Lined with seven crescents on either side, this is a must have jewellery set.

For our first look we added a gorgeous kada, ring, and earrings to the necklace and chose a mint fresh lehenga by Riddhi Majithia. With golden palms bringing the sultry warmth of the tropics to each picture, the cool lehenga with its light-reflecting white, tasseled blouse was a breath of fresh air! This cool color story and fresh patterns make this outfit ideal for a day event.

Look 2: First Pooja
When you must bow gently to tradition but don’t want to lose your own style of modernity, you could get the best of both worlds by bringing soft color to statement jewellery. This Azva choker crafted with relief work on the rim encases the center stone. Rows of granules are interspersed with complex filigree designs, trimmed with overlapping layers of handcrafted scales. This is a piece that maintains the perfect balance between chic and ethnic.

We paired the necklace with a gorgeous pastel orange saree by PLEATS by Kaksha & Dimple. The beautiful floral border created with delicate zardosi work edges the ensemble, while smaller motifs festoon the fabric with a subtle elegance. Beautiful bangles and a ring that matches the work of the necklace complete the look.
