My Best Friend Nazish’s Wedding

Bride Nazish was over the moon when her troupe of bridesmaids came into town with just one thing on the agenda – an afternoon of glamour and good times. The bride and her besties had a day of indulgence, preening and pampering with a walk through different wardrobes and picking accessories for a sophisticated cocktail soirée.

“Getting dressed up and taking photographs with my troupe was no doubt surreal and a ton of fun but more importantly, it provided us with buckets of inspiration! It gave us a unique perspective about shopping and dressing for a wedding. We tried out new looks, stuff we wouldn’t have normally gravitated towards.”

Nazish’s jewelry from DNA Jewels included intricately crafted pieces with fiery red stones and diamonds. They added a pique of color and drama to her silver lehenga with shimmering fish scale detailing by Pankaj and Nidhi. “This is the first wedding in our little girl gang,” Sanchi says, explaining the excitement and the emotions. “Trying out gorgeous outfits, jewellery and more was not only a great source of inspiration, but also a chance to gently allow the reality to sink in, that our best friend is embarking on a new life.”

Sanchi loves pastels and adored the one shouldered, puffed sleeved blouse in blush that she paired with an eclectic lehenga that shimmered with a broken mirror effect. The experience of spending the day with her friends, reliving all their cherished memories together, and preparing for the happy moments to come was priceless for Farheen. Jamila found the Taj Lands End with its swaying palms and the Arabian Sea views to be the perfect backdrop for their elegant cocktail party shoot. “I was swept away by the stunning diamond set by DNA Jewels that I had the opportunity to wear! It just looked enchanting against my dreamy gown by Pankaj and Nidhi with its shimmering train and draped cape detailing. The retro 70’s glam visage Neha created for me was the perfect accompaniment for the look. Topping the look with a few sprays of SKINN perfumes from my bridesmaid gift pack, I truly felt like a diva!”
